FAQ

Q: Can you repair bent or cracked wheels?

A: No, we DO NOT repair bent or cracked wheels due to liability issues.

Q: Can you repair a chrome wheel that's been curbed?

A: Not yet. The technology isn't quite there yet.

Q: I live in San Francisco. Will you come to the city to fix my wheels?

A: Sorry. We service Santa Cruz county only as a rule. You're more that welcome to come down and enjoy sunny Santa Cruz while we repair your wheels.

Q: Can you repair my polished wheels?

A: Yes. The only limitation is being accurately able to reproduce the "lathing lines" that appear on some wheels (like Honda's). Lathing lines look like the grooves of a vinyl record. If you don't know what a record looks like, ask your parents.

Q: The wheels I want repaired are off the car. Can you still fix them?

A: Yes. But we prefer them to be on the vehicle. The repair will come out better if the wheels are mounted on the car.

Q: My wheel has a big gouge in the bead that cut through the tire. Can you repair it?

A: It depends. We would have to look at it to determine whether there is enough material left to repair. Keep in mind that this type of repair is cosmetic only.

Q: I would like to change the color of my wheels. Can you do that?

A: Yes. We have a database of every car color produced in the last twenty years. We also have the ability to match any color you wish. Extra charges will apply.

Q: My wheels have a Titanium look to them. Can you match that color?

A: Yes. We can accurately match Titanium, Hyper Black and most popular colors.

Q: I have a Mercedes Benz wheel that has a matte finish. Can you match it?

A: Yes. We have the correct clear coat to match that type of finish.

Q: I belong to a car club (Miata, PT Cruiser, Hot Rod, etc). Do you do weekend events?

A: Absolutely! We love car clubs. Be sure to have your event organizer schedule us in as soon as possible.
